There’s something weirdly theatrical about job interviews. You dress up, rehearse your lines, and walk into a room hoping the other actor sticks to the script. But sometimes, that hiring manager decides to go rogue and turn the whole thing into an ego-fueled power trip. Then suddenly you’re rethinking your entire life (and wardrobe choices).
We’re told to stay polite, be flexible, and act like we’re lucky to even be there. But what if the vibe is just off from the jump? What if the person across the table clearly has no interest in your experience but plenty of interest in making you feel small?
That’s exactly what happened here, and instead of sitting through the awkward theater of it all, this candidate decided to flip the script and walk right off stage. Respect.
