I love New Yorker comics. The often featuring minimalist drawing with sharp, witty jokes. The don’t rely on bright colors or flashy illustrations. They just delivery their smart jokes that make you feel smarter for understanding them.
Sarah Kempa is one of these artist. Her simple yet hilarious single panel comics are what I strive for when I draw my own comics. Focus on the humor, the actual drawing is secondary.
