I didn’t even drink coffee until I was into my mid 20s and had a job where I needed to be up at an ungodly hour in the morning. I started drinking it, even though I hated the taste, simply because I needed to function at 4am.
Now, I love coffee. It got its hooks in me. It’s the first thing I do when I get up in the morning. If my apartment was on fire I’d get a quick cup in before I tried to escape. I’ll name my first child Coffee. There are no other Gods. Only coffee.
