America is the land of freedom in many ways, but the truth is you are only as free as you are wealthy. Capitalism at the cost of everything and everyone else only helps the people at the top, and if you’re reading this right now, well, I have bad news for you.
Whatever it is you choose to believe, these capitalist dystopia memes show the reality of what is happening in our country right now, and has been happening for a long time. The rich keep getting richer and the rest of us are just moving further down the ladder.
The silver lining? History tells us that there are always more of us than there are of them, and eventually enough of us wake up and do something about it. Let’s make that happen in our lifetime.
