Having owned pets all my life, I love imagining what secret lives they have when I’m not around. I love giving them unique voices and making them say wild stuff. My dog’s ability to talk trash about squirrels delights me every day.
Cartoonist Scott Metzger is a master of this art. He takes the lives of pets and stirs in a hilarious amount of silliness. His style also kind of reminds me of The Far Side which I have a nostalgic soft spot for.
