We feature a lot of smart New Yorker comics here, but I still love the ones that are silly and absurd above all else. Give me a weirdo artist any day. The kind of funny comics no one else would ever come up with in a million year because, well, why would anyone?
Nathan Bulmer is a storyboard artist for Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Dreamworks. So, obviously he is very talented. But his comics are simple, minimalist, and weird in a way that is still hilarious without being completely nonsensical. You know, the sweet spot.
