I’ve had animals all my life. Dogs, cats, even a few reptiles here and there. No birds though. I don’t trust anything with a knife on its face.
Kevin Erdmann’s The Meerkat Guy Comics are about all kinds of things, usually with a dark humor angle to them, but his animal comics always stand out to me. I like personifying animals and giving them crazy backstories. My dog Beatrice talks in a bad British accent and is in a toxic relationship with her butt.
