I grew up with a single mom who didn’t have a lot of help. I honestly have no idea how she did it. Obviously, like all parents, she made some mistakes but the fact that I grew up wanting for nothing seems like a miracle.
This AITA Reddit post is about two parents. One is a mother of three who works a full time job. The father is a teacher who is off for the summer and wants to go on a solo trip. They don’t have childcare.
The mother is asking of she’s the bad guy for not letting her husband go, citing that even though she let him go on a solo trip before (when she was pregnant) the conditions now are different and it wouldn’t be fair to her.
Where do you land on this? People in the comments are siding with the mom, and honestly I think it’s insane that the dad would even bring this up.
