I’ve worked plenty of customer service jobs where I was reliant on tips. You come to understand that even if you’re having a bad day, you need to give good service. Sure, some people are jerks and won’t tip no matter what you do, but most folks drop you some dollars as long as you don’t screw everything up.
In this Reddit post, a customer went to the club with some friends and everyone was having apps and drinks. The OP, however, wasn’t drinking alcohol due to the medication he was on, so he ordered a Sprite.
The waitress not only didn’t bring him the Sprite, she kept coming back to refill drink orders for everyone else at the table and continuously refusing to bring his soda. I would’ve lost it, but read on to see how he handled it and if you agree.
