As someone who spends a very healthy and normal amount of time looking at cat content online, I can confidently say this might be the weirdest and best thing I’ve seen all week.
Galina Bugaevskaya, the creative genius behind “Cat Universe,” has a simple mission: put cat faces where cat faces do not belong. Horses? Yes. Owls? Of course. A jellyfish with a fluffy tabby face? Why not.
The result is glorious animal mashups that look like your favorite pet accidentally wandered into a Pixar movie and a fever dream. Some are majestic. Some are unsettling. All of them made me laugh.
