Employee Is Told They Can’t Work From Home, Then Maliciously Complies When They Change The Rules

I’ve worked from home for several years now and I consider it a blessing. It’s honestly nuts to me how many years I spent going in somewhere to work. The commuting time to and from. The “office culture“. I’m actually not sure I could mentally handle going back to that.

In today’s Reddit post, this employee was explicitly told they could not work from home. They even had them sign something saying they wouldn’t.

However, the employer decided to change the rules when it suited them and force the employee to work on a weekend day — their day off. You can read on for the rest.
