I worked with kids for a little over a decade and the one constant was kids saying whatever pops into their head. Zero filter. If something is off about you, you’re getting called out immediately.
The benefit of working with children was I got to cut and run when my shift is over. Parents are stuck with them. I mean, I guess you love them or whatever but I can’t imagine not being able to clock out.
These parents share times their kids said something so awkward and embarrassing it’ll probably stick with them forever. At least, after the fact, it was also funny.
