I’ve worked a lot of customer service jobs where management loved to put up signs for employees rather than must talking to us. They also had a poor understanding of how quotation marks are supposed to be used. Clearly that’s a common theme.
These signs weren’t meant to be funny, but misused quotation marks made them hilarious. Unintentionally hilarious might be one of the best kinds. Especially when someone makes a sign thinking they’re going to educate the readers. Swing and a miss.
