I’ve been working on my mental health for most of my adult life. Therapy, medication, even exercising several times a week. I’ve thrown the book at it. What have I learned? The battle never ends. You’re gonna have good days and bad day but it’s always a fight, and your opponent just moves up and down weight classes with you.
The best tool I’ve found is being able to laugh about it. I love funny tweets about mental health struggles because they remind me so many people are going through the same thing and humor takes a little of the sting out of it.
