When sports are played right, it’s essentially art. I’m talking perfectly executed NFL plays, hockey players gliding at full speed before colliding like it’s ballet on ice, and the clean, satisfying swing of a golf club. When it’s the best of the best out there, it starts to look like something you’d hang in a museum.
That’s why I love the Twitter account Art But Make It Sports. They figured this out and started pairing iconic sports moments with classical paintings, and somehow, it just works. It’s one of those internet gems that makes scrolling worth it. Stuff like this is why I’m still here.
