I like to feature a bunch on single panel comic artist here. I believe it’s one of the hardest genres to pull off. You have to make a clear illustration and have a solid joke all to be understood at first sight. Few can do it well.
Jim Shoenbill is one of the best at it. His one panel comics don’t even rely on crass humor. They are fun and often even wholesome yet manage to nail some of the best jokes. Not an easy task when most artist use dark humor and even swear quite a bit.
