Modern society is all about consumption. Capitalism over everything. Buy something new, get every version of it in every color, then buy it again next year when we make a tiny change and put out the 2.0 version.
People are getting sick of it. I mean, not enough to make this system come crashing down, but at least there’s some folks with reason out there.
This reddit post is where those folks can vent. Overconsumption is at a fever pitch and, ironically, some people have had enough.
