Money is a difficult subject in many relationships. Someone always makes more than the other and it can lead to huge problems if there isn’t good communication about it. If you throw a surprise prenup into things, it’s going to get messy very quickly.
A bride-to-be on Reddit’s AITA asked if she was in the wrong for “emasculating’ her fiancé in front of his family after his mother tried to make her sign a prenup.
Hopefully, if she decides to sign it and still get married, she spends as much of the money as possible while they’re together. I have a feeling it won’t last long.

5. Mostly people responded to OP the way I would, which is to say, if you feel you need a prenup, don’t get married. She did nothing wrong.
