Coworker Gives The Classiest “No” You’ll Ever Hear From A Customer Service Rep

Back when I worked in customer service, it didn’t take long for me to figure out it wasn’t my calling. I could handle regular customers just fine, but the ones who came in hot—rude, pushy, and convinced the rules didn’t apply to them—drained every ounce of patience I had. I’m not wired to sugarcoat a “no,” and sooner or later, that caught up with me.

That’s why I admire the people who can deal with difficult customers without losing their cool. They stay calm, stand their ground, and still manage to deliver a refusal with style.

In this story from Reddit, a veteran call center worker does exactly that—shutting down a demanding customer with a line so perfect it ought to be framed and hung in every break room.
