I’ve rented my whole life in numerous different apartments in different cities in the US. I can proudly say I’ve never missed a rent payment.

I pay my rent in full and on time not because I respect landlords, in fact far from it. I do it because my anxiety won’t let me get into a situation where I’m homeless or in debt. I’ve been both and don’t like it at all.
