Client Wonders If He Was Supposed To Tip Solo Event Planner After They Drop Hint He Should’ve
It’s often awkward when you’re in situation where you aren’t sure if you’re supposed to tip. I’ve always assumed I do, and offer it expecting to be turned down if it isn’t appropriate.
In this Reddit post a client hires an event planner who is also the sole owner of the business. The planning went well and so did the party, but since the planner was also the owner and set their own wage, he figured there was no need to tip.
Well, once the job was done the event planner strongly hinted that he should’ve tipped, but asked for a good reviews since he wouldn’t be getting one. Now the client is wondering if he did the right thing.
