Employer Blindsides New Hire By Firing Them After First Day Of Work, Claiming It Was A “Trial Period”

The job market is so bad right now that employers think they can treat employees however they want, and those employee should feel lucky to even have a job.

In this Reddit post, one job candidate was offered a job and hired at $22/hr. Because of this, they left their former job to start the new one, but after the first day of working the manager told them it was just a “trail period” and said they wouldn’t move forward with their employment.
