Remote Employees Forced By Management To Use Old Slow Computers, So They Maliciously Comply By Slowing Down Work
Management always want production to go up but they never want to spend the money to make it happen. They won’t give raises to motivate or update supplies to make things easier for employees.
In this Reddit post a remote worker shares a story about his managers forcing employees to work on old, slow computers to do their work. Obviously things would go much faster is the computers had the proper processing power.
In an act of malicious compliance these employees purposefully worked at a snail’s pace since the higher ups didn’t want to give them better laptops. You get what you pay for, after all.
