I’ve spent so much time marinating in the general cynicism of the internet that my brain almost doesn’t know what to do when it encounters something that isn’t a disaster or a screenshot of someone being a jerk.
It’s like stepping out of a dark basement into actual sunlight; it’s a little disorienting at first, but it’s nice to remember that the world isn’t entirely made of glitches and bad takes.
Sometimes you just need to read a wholesome tweet (real or not, but I want to believe it’s real) about stranger being inexplicably kind to remind yourself that humanity might actually be worth the effort after all.
