I grew up in the Midwest, and still live here. Enduring winter has become a yearly part of my life. I’ve grown to kind of like it. There’s a calmness to the city after a snowstorm. Quiet, and peaceful.
That’s not to say I haven’t cussed out my car for not starting because it’s too cold, and once every few years, I seem to fall flat on my back thanks to some ice. Oh, and shoveling SUCKS. But these winter pictures make this time of year look cool, and cozy.
