35 Times Boring Architecture Was Transformed Into Amazing Street Art By ‘Wild Drawing’
Anytime I visit a new city, I’m always looking for the street art. Not the stuff you have to hunt down in a gallery, but the murals that just exist where people live, commute, and grab coffee.
That’s how I ended up falling into the work of WD (Wild Drawing), and once you see it, it’s hard to forget.
An Indonesian mural artist who’s been living and working in Athens for the past decade, WD is known for massive photorealistic murals that feel both beautiful and heavy with meaning.
His work often reflects economic, political, and social realities, not just in Greece but around the world. He’s exhibited internationally and been featured in major street art books, but his murals still feel rooted in the neighborhoods they inhabit.
These are the kinds of walls that stop you mid-walk and make the city feel alive.
