40 Hilarious, Yet Terrifying Children’s’ Portrait Drawings That Are Anything But Flattering

I’ve been drawing since I was a little kid, and recently my mom sent me a stack of my old artwork from back then.

Apparently, I had a real talent for… deeply unsettling portraits of her. Big eyes, weird proportions, the kind of “loving” drawings that probably kept her up at night.

So yeah, I have a soft spot for kids’ portrait art that misses the mark in the funniest possible way.

These drawings are hilarious, a little terrifying, and completely unfiltered in that way only kids can manage.

They may not be flattering, but they’re honest, chaotic, and proof that every artist starts somewhere… usually with nightmare fuel.
