30 Wholesome Animal Friendships Between Unlikely Species
There’s nothing more wholesome than when two different species of animals become friends. I went to the San Diego Zoo once and saw a golden retriever in the cheetah exhibit. Naturally, I panicked and ran to tell employees the dog was about to become lunch. They laughed at me because apparently, the dog is there for emotional support. The cheetah needs therapy from a golden retriever. An apex predator with anxiety being comforted by a lab that probably eats socks.
I felt dumb, but also it’s adorable thinking they just hang out all day. Turns out interspecies friendships aren’t that uncommon. These unlikely animal friendships prove animals are better at getting along than we are.
