55 Times People Knew Exactly What They Were Doing, But Left Enough Room For Deniability

I’ve worked enough bad jobs in my life to learn an important skill: how to have a little fun without getting yourself in trouble.

You figure out pretty quickly how to walk that line, doing just enough to entertain yourself while leaving just enough room to say, “What? I didn’t do anything.”

That’s why I have a real appreciation for this kind of humor. It’s subtle, a little sneaky, and clearly intentional, but never quite blatant enough to get someone called out. The kind of joke that lives in that perfect gray area of plausible deniability.

These are the moments where people knew exactly what they were doing, even if they’d never admit it out loud.
