I follow a few amateur baking groups on Facebook mostly out of curiosity but also because, if you can believe this it’s my job.
To be clear, these aren’t professional bakers with commercial setups. These are people with a regular oven and a dream and somehow they’re producing cakes that look like they belong in a museum. The Cake Recipes 101 group is full of this stuff.
Every time I scroll through it I feel both impressed and personally attacked because I can barely make box mix work.
