I haven’t been to an Easter service in years but I still remember the specific panic of trying to stay awake during a long sermon in dress pants that didn’t fit.
Easter is a weird holiday because it’s simultaneously one of the most sacred days of the year and also the day a giant rabbit sneaks into your house and hides eggs in your shoes.
