I used to work at a secondhand furniture store that dealt mostly in nice antique pieces, the kind of stuff with real craftsmanship and some actual taste behind it.
But every now and then, someone would roll in with something that made you stop in your tracks. Not because it was bad quality, but because it was… a choice.
That’s the thing. These weren’t poorly made. In fact, a lot of them were impressively well executed. Solid builds, real effort, maybe even talent. Just pointed in a completely unhinged direction.
