I’ve had enough bad office jobs to earn a PhD in looking busy. You learn quick that there’s a big difference between working and appearing to work, and some workplaces reward the second one way more than they should.

So when I saw this Reddit thread about a remote employee being dragged into the office on Fridays and asking how to look busy, I felt that in my soul.
