Every spring I convince myself this is the year I become a gardening guy. I picture lush plants, fresh herbs, maybe even something I can confidently call “homegrown.” And every year, without fail, I’m humbled by a tiny plant that I somehow manage to kill despite my best efforts. It’s honestly impressive.
Meanwhile, there are people out there with actual green thumbs turning their yards into full-blown botanical masterpieces like it’s nothing. I respect it. I envy it. I will never be it.
