46 Liminal Spaces Where The Line Between Reality And A Dream Is Blurry
I’ve done a lot of traveling over the years, often solo, and every now and then I’d end up somewhere that felt… off. Not dangerous, not even necessarily creepy, just strangely empty and disconnected, like I’d slipped into a place that existed between moments.
That’s basically what a liminal space is. It’s a location that feels like a transition point, something in-between, like an empty hallway, a deserted mall, or a parking lot at night where it feels like time forgot to show up.
I’ve stumbled into a few of those spots in real life, and the feeling sticks with you. These photos capture that exact unsettling, “did I just fall through the cracks of reality?” energy.
