40 Nostalgic ‘70s Household Items That Were Somehow Also Safety Hazards
I wasn’t around in the ’70s, and after seeing these pictures, I’m kind of grateful for that. Every household item from that decade looks like it came with a built-in chance of electrical shock, minor burns, or tetanus. People really had boiling hot metal boxes, lawn darts, and exposed heating coils sitting around the house like it was no big deal.
This thread from the Memorial Device Twitter account is basically a museum of “how did this not injure more people?”
