Guy Changes The Thermostat Password After His Roommate Keeps Turning Their Apartment Into A Sauna

Nothing reveals how incompatible two human beings are faster than sharing a thermostat. You can learn somebody’s politics, religion, and deepest fears, but none of it matters. The real test is whether they think 80 degrees indoors is “comfortable.”

I also think heat hits harder when you work from home. You can’t escape it. In an office, at least everybody suffers together because of their corporate overlords’ temperature preferences.

That’s basically what kicked off this roommate fight shared on r/AITA. One guy got tired of constantly sweating in his own place. The other thought the complaints were overblown.

Eventually, the whole thing escalated into a level of pettiness that somehow dragged their mutual friends into the debate too.
