50 Home Designers Who Had One Job And Somehow Made It Harder Than That
I am not a home designer. I have no training in architecture, construction, or interior design. But I do feel confident saying a toilet should probably not require a staircase to access.
Maybe that’s an old-fashioned opinion.
Buying a home is already stressful enough without discovering that someone got creative with the floor plan.
The homes in this collection all share one thing in common: at some point, somebody looked at these designs and decided they were good to go. Then another person built them. Then another person bought them. That’s the most impressive part.
Some of these pics are funny because they’re weird. Others are funny because they’re so impractical that you start imagining what daily life must be like for the people who live there.
Either way, they’re a reminder that common sense isn’t always included in the blueprint.
