35 Clever Designs That Made Everyday Life A Little Better
I appreciate clever design because it’s one of the few things that can make me stop what I’m doing and think, “Well, that’s neat.” Most of the time I’m just trying to get through my day without pulling on a door that says push or walking into a pole because I was looking at my phone. Good design makes life easier. Great design makes you notice it.
Some of these designs solve everyday problems in surprisingly smart ways. Others take an ordinary object and make it a little more fun, a little more memorable, or both.
At the very least, they’re a nice reminder that somebody out there is putting more effort into their work than I put into picking a Netflix show. I wish my brain worked this efficiently. My main contribution to society is noticing these after someone else already thought of them.
