We had a pretty bad storm today with 70mph winds. I’m talking the kind of storm where you check the weather app every twenty minutes even though checking it more often does absolutely nothing. A tree branch came down in the street and I stood at the window watching it happen like that was going to help somehow. The power flickered twice and both times I wondered how I was gonna finish my workday if we lost power.
