Disney basically wired most millennial brains from birth, and now here we are, decades later, dragging our own kids to the parks under the guise of “making memories” when really we just want one more churro and a reason to relive 2003.
But Disney never stopped making stuff. I just saw the new Toy Story movie, and right before that my little niece spent twenty minutes telling me, in detail, about every Disney+ show she’s currently obsessed with.
Give it a few years, and she’ll be the one making Bluey memes instead of listening to mine. For now though, most of the internet’s Disney humor still belongs to millennials, the generation that can recite an entire Disney Channel Original Movie from memory but couldn’t tell you what they had for breakfast.
