Photos lie all the time. Not on purpose, just by default. You can take a picture of something massive and without anything next to it for scale, it just looks like a normal-sized thing sitting on a normal-sized surface. That’s why the best wildlife photos, the ones where someone’s holding a beetle the size of a sandwich or standing next to a wave that shouldn’t exist, always have a person in the frame. The comparison is the whole point.
The “Absolute Units” subreddit has built an entire community around this exact idea, collecting pictures of things so big, so heavy, or so just generally enormous that a regular photo wouldn’t even begin to do them justice.
