25 Glass Food Sculptures By This Artist That Look More Real Than Actual Food

Miwa Ito is a Japanese glass artist and sculptor who creates food from molten glass. Not approximate food, not food-adjacent shapes. The panna cotta, the sundae, the hamburger with the sesame seed bun, all of it is glass.

I kept having to remind myself of that while scrolling through these, which is either a sign of incredible craftsmanship or a personal problem. There are a few process shots in here too, which don’t really make it any easier to understand how she does it. These are our favorite pieces she’s created.
