35 Very Specific ’90s And 2000s Things Millennials Forgot They Remembered
Sometimes I see something and forgot I even remembered it. Like it wasn’t gone exactly, just sitting somewhere in the back of my brain collecting dust until a picture of a Dunkaroos packet or a CD binder pulls it right back up and suddenly I’m twelve years old again standing in a Blockbuster trying to pick a movie before my parents get impatient.
That’s the whole thing about growing up in the ’90s and 2000s. There was so much specific stuff that you stopped actively thinking about most of it a long time ago. The Pogs. The plasma ball at Spencer Gifts you weren’t supposed to touch. The Minesweeper game you played to avoid doing anything real. It’s all still in there.
