31 Comics From ‘Breakfast Club’ That Show Puns And Food Go Together Like Peanut Butter And Jelly

I’ll admit it right up front: I love a corny pun. Not in an ironic way, either. When someone drops a truly groan-worthy play on words, something in my brain lights up like a toaster with a fork in it.

I know puns aren’t exactly the pinnacle of sophisticated humor — nobody’s handing out comedy awards for “lettuce romaine calm” — but that’s exactly the point.

The cheesier they are, the harder I fall.

Which is why Breakfast Club Comics is basically my love language in comic form. It takes the two greatest things on earth — food and wordplay — and mashes them together like, well, peanut butter and jelly. Every panel is a little serving of dad-joke energy with a side of adorable art, and I genuinely can’t get enough.

So if you’re the kind of person who audibly groans at a good pun but secretly saves it to text to your friends later, you’re in the right place.

Grab a snack (you’ll want one), scroll on, and prepare to be simultaneously delighted and mildly annoyed. That’s the sweet spot.
