I’ve been counting down the clock since Tuesday. This week had that specific pre-holiday drag where everyone knows nothing real is getting done but we’re all pretending anyway, showing up, opening laptops, and waiting for someone to officially call it. I took tomorrow off work, which means today felt like the longest Friday of my life even though it’s only July 3rd.
