I like looking up random history facts, and on this day in 1928, sliced bread was sold for the very first time by a bakery in Chillicothe, Missouri. People loved it so much that it became the permanent measuring stick for every good idea that came after it. The best thing since sliced bread.

Today’s funniest tweets might not change history, but they’re pretty close to the greatest thing since sliced bread.
