27 Paper Sculptures By Manabu Kosaka That Shouldn’t Be Possible With Just Paper
When someone says paper sculptures, your brain goes straight to the paper airplane you made in seventh grade and threw at the back of someone’s head. That’s all paper does in my mind. Manabu Kosaka did not get that memo.
This Japanese artist makes full-scale replicas of retro electronics out of paper. Cameras, radios, watches, old mechanical gadgets with tiny dials and knobs and moving parts. Not loose interpretations of these things. Exact copies, built from paper, at the actual size of the original object.
You could put one next to the real thing and do a double take.
