30 Trees Eating Things They Had No Business Eating
A tree fell down in my neighborhood during the storms last week and I was genuinely bummed about it, which made me stop and ask myself if I’m a tree guy now. I think I might be. I’m pro-nature in general, so when I see trees slowly reclaiming something humans built and left unattended, I find it funny more than anything. A bike locked to a pole twenty years ago, now half inside a trunk. A stop sign that’s been slowly absorbed into the bark over a decade.
Nature just keeps going and doesn’t ask anyone’s permission, which is kind of admirable. These trees are eating things that had it coming.
