I’m going out tonight. I know. I don’t love it either. The introvert in me has been filing complaints since Tuesday about this decision and I’ve been ignoring all of them because I know from experience that once I’m actually there, it’ll be fine and probably fun and I’ll be glad I went.
Doesn’t make the lead-up any easier though. There’s a specific kind of dread that comes with knowing you have plans later, where you can’t fully relax all day because something is coming.
